Salah satu fitur unggulan dalam sistem komunikasi mobile adalah SMS ( Short Message Service), SMS merupakan suatu aplikasi mobile yang mampu mengirimkan sebuah pesan singkat berupa teks. Sms sangat dibutuhkan oleh banyak pengguna handphone untuk menyampaikan informasi, namun aplikasi standart tidak dapat melakukan pengiriman sebuah pesan singkat secara tersandi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menciptakan suatu aplikasi handphone yang dapat mengirimkan sebuah pesan singkat secara tersandi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tahapan perumusan masalah, studi literature, pengumpulan data, pengembangan sistem dan pembuatan laporan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi pengirim SMS secara tersandi dengan menggunakan metode kriptografi caesar cipher.
Description Alternative :One of the excellent features in mobile communication system is SMS (Short Message Service), SMS is a mobile application which can transmit a short message as texts. SMS is needed by many mobile users for deliver the information, but the standard application cant send a short message in encrypted. The purpose of this research is create a mobile application which can send a short message in encrypted. The research conducted by formulation of the problem, study literature, data collection, system development, and preparing reports. This research generating application the SMS sender in encrypted by using Caesar Cipher crytographic method.
