Perkembangan teknologi kususnya di bidang teknologi informasi sangat mempengaruhi aspek kehidupan masyarakat terutama di bidang pendidikan. Pada SMP YPMM Tungkal Ulu proses pembelajaran yang digunakan bersifat konfensional yang mana guru dan siswa masih bertatap muka secara langsung untuk melakukan proses belajar mengajar akan terganggu. Hal ini menyebabkan lambat nya proses pembelajaran dan kurang nya pemahaman materi pembelajaran pada SMP YPMM Tungkal Ulu dengan menerapkan sistem e-learning maka masalah tersebut dapat teratasi. E-learning adalah proses pembelajaran evektif yang diciptakan dengan cara menghubungkan konten yang di sampaikan secara digital dengan jasa dan sarana pendukung pembelajaran sehingga memungkinkan proses belajar mengajar dapat berjalan tanpa adanya proses tatap muka. Sistem pengembangan e-learning yang di usulkan merupakan sistem yang dikembang kan dengan mengunakan moodle. Perancangan aplikasi sistem e-learning ini dapat diterapkan di SMP YPMM Tungkal Ulu sehingga dapat meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dan efektifitas dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.
Description Alternative :The development of technology specifically in the field of information technology greatly affects aspects of community life, especially in the field of education. At SMP YPMM Tungkal Ulu, the learning process used is conventional, in which the teacher and students face to face directly to do the teaching and learning process will be disrupted. This causes a slow learning process and lack of understanding of learning material in SMP YPMM Tungkal Ulu by implementing the e-learning system so that the problem can be overcome. E-learning is an effective learning process that is created by connecting content delivered digitally with learning support services and facilities so as to enable the teaching and learning process to run without face-to-face processes. The e-learning development system proposed is a system developed by using moodle. The design of this e-learning system application can be applied in SMP YPMM Tungkal Ulu so that it can improve the learning process and effectiveness in teaching and learning activities
