Pada studi kasus ini perpustakaan SMA At-Taufiq Kota Jambi masih melakukan pendataan anggota, buku serta proses transaksi peminjaman dan pengembalian buku masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga sering terjadi kesalahan data dan terlambatnya laporan serta pelayanan kepada anggota yang kurang maksimal. Adapun sistem informasi perpustakaan yang akan dibuat berguna untuk meminimalisir kesalahan tersebut dimana penulis merancang prototype sistem Informasi perpustakaan di SMA At-Taufiq Kota Jambi sesuai kebutuhan dengan harapan rancangan prototype ini bisa diterapkan di perpustakaan SMA At-Taufiq Kota Jambi. Adapun yang digunakan untuk merancang sistem Antara lain UML, Class Diagram, Use Case sedangkan perancangan sistem penelitian ini mengunakan Dreamwever dan Mysql. Rancangan prototype ini menghasilkan sistem informasi perpustakaan di SMA At-Taufiq Kota Jambi berbasis web dimana fitur tersebut terdiri dari ; Data Anggota, Data Buku, Peminjaman buku, Pengembalian buku dan Laporan di mana membantu kinerja perpustakaan sekolah dan dapat ditambahkan beberapa fitur yang belum terdapat dirancangan prototype sistem tersebut.
Description Alternative :In this case study, the At-Taufiq High School in Jambi still conducts member data collection, the book as well as the transaction process of borrowing and returning the book is still done manually so that frequent mistakes of data and late reports and services to members less than the maximum. The library information system that will be made useful to minimize the error where the authors designed the prototype library information system at SMA At-Taufiq Jambi city as needed in the hope that the design of this prototype can be applied in the library of At-Taufiq High School in Jambi City. As for which is used to design the system Among other UML, Class Diagram, Use Case while the design of this research system using Dreamwever and Mysql. The design of this prototype produces a library information system at Atamb Taufiq High School in Jambi City based on the web where the feature consists of; Member Data, Book Data, Book Lending, Return of books and Reports which help the performance of school libraries and can add some features that have not been designed by the prototype of the system.
