Kebutuhan akan ketersediaan bibit kelapa sawit berkualitas dengan kuantitas yang terus meningkat sejalan dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan penduduk dunia akan minyak sawit. Saat ini petani swadaya kelapa sawit menghadapi tantangan agar meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil produksi dari perkebunan sawit rakyat, agar mampu mengejar ketertinggalan terhadap perkebunan negara dan swasta. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah menata proses budidaya yang terstruktur dari pemilihan varietasnya. Kebanyakan penduduk desa belum mengetahui dan bisa memilih maupun membedakan jenis bibit kelapa sawit yang bagus, dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang jenis bibit tanaman tersebut terutama jenis bibit kelapa sawit. Aplikasi yang akan di rancang akan memudahkan masyarakat awam dalam memilih jenis bibit kelapa sawit yang unggul. Aplikasi tersebut dibuat menggunakan Android Studio dengan metode Fuzzy Tsukamoto untuk membantu dalam menentukan pemilihan jenis bibit berkualitas kelapa sawit melalui kriteria dan subkriteria yang sudah ditentukan.Untuk membantu dan mempermudah masyarakat dalam memilih jenis bibit unggul kelapa sawit, serta menambah wawasan masyarakat tentang jenis bibit berkualitas kelapa sawit

Deskripsi Alternatif :

The need for availability of quality palm seeds with an ever-increasing quantity in line with the increasing demand of the world's population of palm oil. Currently oil palm self-help farmers face the challenge of improving the quality and quantity of production from palm oil plantations, in order to be able to catch up with state and private plantations. One solution that can be done is to organize a structured cultivation process from the selection of varieties. Most villagers do not know and can choose or distinguish the type of oil palm seeds are good, due to lack of knowledge about the type of plant seeds, especially types of oil palm seedlings. Applications that will be designed will facilitate the layman in choosing the type of seed oil palm is superior. The application was made using Android Studio with Fuzzy Tsukamoto method to assist in determining the selection of the type of quality seeds of palm oil through criteria and subcriteria that have been determined. To help and facilitate the community in choosing the type of superior seeds of palm oil, and increase community insight about the type of quality seeds of coconut palm oil.
