Di era globalisasi seperti saat ini dunia teknologi dan informasi perkembangannya sangat pesat,khususnya dunia komputer. Komputer saat ini merupakan kebutuhan manusia di dalam melakukan berbagai kegiatan,ditambah dengan adanya teknologi informasi yang semakin berperan di dalam dunia pekerjaan. Dengan menggunakan piranti teknologi informasi yang tepat,maka akan dihasilkan informasi yang tepat dan akurat sesuai dengan kebutuhan sehingga keputusan dapat diambil dengan cepat. Hotel victory jambi adalah salah satu hotel dalam dunia penginapan yang belum memiliki fasilitas website untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun perncangan sistem informasi hotel victory Jambi yang nantinya dapat berguna bagi semua pihak. Pembuatan website ini menggunakan dreamweaver dan PHP MysQL sebagai database nya. Website yang nantinya dirancang terdiri dari beberapa halaman diantaranya halaman utama, kamar, pesanan, pembayaran, fasilitas,forum dan login. Perancangan website ini dilakukan secara lengkap sehingga mampu mencakup semua kebutuhan. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini berupa Website hotel victory jambi, yang mampu memberikan informasi dengan cepat, akurat dan efisien
Deskripsi Alternatif :Library information system is a very important thing in the world of education because the library is the window of the world. Where library information system is done manually, ie record transactions to the agenda book, thus causing data processing runs less effective and efficient. The purpose of this research is to design and create a new system and design a library application program at SMK Dharma Bhakti 4 Kota Jambi by using Visual Basic .NET 2008. Method of analysis done with several stages, that is with literature, do direct interview with head of library which then analyze Problems and system development using the Waterfall Model. The results obtained in this study is a library application program designed using Visual Basic .NET. 2008 data validation can already be done since inputting, processing data up to produce report. So that efficient in data processing can be improved and information can be presented quickly. Based on the above discussion it is suggested to apply a system that has been designed to improve the current system, the implementation of this system can still be deficient, for that to other research related to the theme of research in order to straighten, continue and refine the results of this research if necessary development towards more Both in the future
