Perkembangan zaman pada ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi mengalami kemajuan khususnya pada smartphone dengan sistem operasi berbasis android. Kemajuan teknologi yang ada sekarang dapat diterapkan di berbagai bidang, salah satunya dalam bisnis salon kecantikan. Informasi mengenai salon kecantikan yang paling diminati cukup sulit untuk didapatkan. Akibatnya untuk orang awam yang ingin mengunjungi salon kecantikan salah memilih tempat sehingga hasil yang diinginkan tidak sesuai yang diharapkan. Dengan pemanfaatan teknologi khususnya di bidang android penulis membuat sebuah aplikasi GIS salon kecantikan untuk membantu masyarakat dalam mendapatkan informasi mengenai salon kecantikan dan memandu masyarakat dalam proses pencarian lokasi. Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall yang harus menyelesaikan tahap demi tahap. Penulis menggunakan Android Studio sebagai alat bantu pembuatan aplikasi android dan beberapa aplikasi lainnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat mendapatkan informasi salon kecantikan dan menjadi alat bantu untuk menuju ke lokasi salon kecantikan.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Development on Science and technology progress in particular on smartphone withandroid-based operating system. Current advances in technology can be applied in various fields, one of which is in the business of beauty salon. Information about the most sought after beauty pretty hard to obtained. The consequences for ordinary people who want to visit a beauty parlor choose the wrong place so that the desired results are not as expected. With the utilization of technology in particular in the field of android the author makes a GIS application beauty salon to help the community in getting information about the beauty shop and guide the society in the process of the search site. The author of the method used in this research is the waterfall method must complete a stage by stage. The author uses Android's Studio as a tool making android apps and some other applications. The results of this research are expected to help the community obtain information beauty salon and became a tool to go to the location of a beauty salon.
