Di SMK Negeri 2 Kota Jambi banyak siswa kelas XII yang akan lulus kurang mengetahui informasi mengenai bidang studi tersebut dan siswa tidak mengetahui hobi, minat, dan kemampuannya sendiri, sehingga banyak siswa yang menentukan bidang studi hanya berdasarkan pilihan orang tua, mengikuti teman, atau hanya memilih tanpa mengetahui jurusan itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, penulis melakukan analisis data mining menggunakan data nilai siswa kelas XII dari semester satu sampai empat dan kuisoner yang penulis bagikan. Penulis menggunakan data siswa tahun 2016 sampai 2017 sebanyak 207 data kemudian di sajikan kedalam format arff. Dalam melakukan analisis penulis menggunakan alat bantu Tools WEKA. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode k-means clustering dengan 33 atribut dan 11 cluster yaitu dengan hasil cluster pertama terdapat 25 data siswa dengan hasil persentase 12% masuk dalam Bidang Seni, cluster kedua terdapat 29 data siswa dengan hasil presentase 14% masuk dalam Bidang Pendidikan, cluster ketiga terdapat 15 data siswa dan hasil presentase 7% masuk dalam Bidang Ekonomi dan Bisnis, cluster keempat terdapat 10 data siswa dan hasil presentase 5% masuk dalam Bidang Perhutanan, cluster kelima terdapat 18 data siswa dan hasil presentase 9% masuk dalam Bidang Kedokteran, cluster keenam terdapat 20 data siswa dan hasil presentase 10% masuk dalam Bidang Olahraga, cluster ketujuh terdapat 27 data siswa dan hasil presentase 13% masuk dalam Bidang Teknik, cluster kedelapan terdapat 24 data siswa dan hasil presentase 12% masuk dalam Bidang Komputer, cluster kesembilan terdapat 13 data siswa dan hasil presentase 6% masuk dalam Bidang Bahasa, cluster kesepuluh terdapat 12 data siswa dan hasil presentase 6% masuk dalam Bidang Pertanian, dan cluster kesebelas terdapat 14 data siswa dan hasil presentase 7% masuk dalam Bidang Agama.
Deskripsi Alternatif :In SMK N 2 Jambi City many students of class XII who will graduate do not know the information about the field of study and students do not know their own hobbies, interests, and abilities, so many students who determine the field of study are only based on parents' choices, friends, or just choose without knowing the direction itself. Therefore, the authors carry out data mining analysis using data grades XII students from semester one to four and the questionnaire the author shared. The author uses data of students from 2016 to 2017 as many as 207 data and then presented in the format Arff. In analyzing the author using the WEKA Tools. The method used is the k-means clustering method with 33 attributes and 11 clusters, namely with the results of the first cluster there are 25 student data with a 12% percentage entry in the Arts Sector, the second cluster there are 29 student data with a 14% percentage entry in Education, the third cluster there are 15 student data and the results of 7% percentage are in the Economy and Business, the fourth cluster there are 10 student data and the 5% percentage results in the Forestry Sector, the fifth cluster there are 18 student data and the 9% percentage results in the Medical Sector, the sixth cluster there are 20 student data and the results of the percentage of 10% enter in the Sports Field, the seventh cluster there are 27 student data and the results of the percentage of 13% are in the Engineering Field, the eighth cluster there are 24 student data and the 12% percentage results in the Computer Field, the ninth cluster there are 13 student data and the 6% percentage results in the Language Field, the tenth cluster has 12 student data and hacyl percentage 6% entered in Agriculture, and eleventh cluster there were 14 student data and 7% percentage results entered in the Religion Field
