Museum Siginjei Jambi, merupakan penyimpanan bukti-bukti sejarah, pelestarian kebudayaan dan tempat reservasi sejarah yang ada di Provinsi Jambi. Disamping itu, museum merupakan pusat pendidikan sejarah untuk anak-anak usia dini maupun masyarakat umum untuk mengenal sejarah bangsa dan jasa para pahlawan, dan sebagai tempat rekreasi. Saat ini museum jarang dikunjungi oleh masyarakat, untuk itu dijaman era globalisasi ini internet sangatlah penting guna mempublikasikan masyarakat luas untuk mendapatkan sumber informasi sejarah dan kebudayaan yang lengkap dan terpercaya. Media publikasi yang akan digunakan adalah melalui media website untuk menunjukkan koleksi museum untuk menunjukkan kepada masyarakat apa saja benda-benda bersejarah yang dimiliki oleh museum Siginjei Jambi. Sistem yang akan digunakan adalah PHP sebagai bahasa pemrograman dan XAMPP yang meliputi apache sebagai web server dan MySQL sebagai database server. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat digunakan dengan baik dan memenuhi kebutuhan museum dengan baik.

Deskripsi Alternatif :

Siginjei Museum of Jambi, is historical evidence storage, preservation of cultural and historical reservation places in the province of Jambi. In addition, the museum is the center of history education for early childhood as well as the general public to get to know the history of the nation and the services of the heroes, and as a place for recreation. Currently the museum is rarely visited by the public, for it's so this internet era of globalization is very important in order to publish a community-wide information sources to get the history and the culture which is complete and reliable. Media publication that will be used is through the medium of a website to show the museum's collections to show the community what historic objects owned by the Siginjei museum of Jambi. The system to be used as a programming language is PHP and XAMPP which includes apache as web server and MySQL as the database server. The test results show that the system can be used well and meets the needs of the museum with a good.
