Google Books merupakan sebuah layanan mesin pencari buku oleh Google. Untuk mengetahui apakah website Google Books telah efektif, efisien serta memberikan kepuasan kepada pengguna, dibutuhkanlah analisis serta evaluasi terhadap usability website Google Books. Analisis usability dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Heuristic Evaluation dan untuk membantu dalam pengolahan data digunakanlah aplikasi SPSS 25. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara online kepada 110 orang mahasiswa di kota Jambi. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data kuesioner, didapatkan bahwa dari 10 variabel Heuristik yang ada, 7 variabel yang tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel Usability yaitu Visibility of system status, User control and freedom, Error prevention, Flexibility and efficient of use, Aesthetic and minimalist design, Help users recognize, dialogue, and recovers from errors dan Help and documentation, sedangkan hanya 3 dimensi yang secara signifikan berpengaruh yaitu variabel Match between system and the real world, Consistency and standards, Recognation rather than recall terhadap Usability website Google Books
Deskripsi Alternatif :Google Books is a book search engine service by Google. To find out whether the Google Books website has been effective, efficient and satisfying to users, analysis and evaluation of the usability of the Google Books website is needed. The usability analysis in this study used the Heuristic Evaluation method and to assist in the processing of the data the SPSS 25 application was used. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of online questionnaires to 110 students in the city of Jambi. Based on the results of questionnaire data processing, it was found that out of the 10 existing Heuristic variables, 7 variables that did not significantly influence Usability variables, namely Visibility of system status, User control and freedom, Error prevention, Flexibility and efficient of use, Aesthetic and minimalist design , Help users recognize, dialogue, and recovers from errors and Help and documentation, while only 3 dimensions have a significant effect, namely the Match between system and the real world variable, Consistency and standards, Recognition rather than recall on the Usability of the Google Books website.
