Saat ini ketersediaan informasi yang terbatas mengenai lokasi studio foto menyebabkan masyarakat cenderung tidak memiliki informasi yang akurat dan relevan sehingga tidak mengetahui lokasi mana yang memiliki studio foto bagus, terjangkau. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem informasi geografis berbasis android mengenai informasi studio foto di Kota Jambi. Informasi dalam bentuk google map sehingga memberikan kemudahan kepada pengguna dalam mencari lokasi studio foto. Metode pengembangan sistem perangkat lunak menggunakan model Waterfall. Dalam pembuatan peta menggunakan peta online yang disediakan oleh Google Maps secara gratis. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu, menghasilkan aplikasi yang dapat melakukan pencarian informasi seperti perhitungan jarak tempat studio foto, paket, maps, dan informasi penting lainnya yg dapat mempermudah masyarakat.
Deskripsi Alternatif :The current limited availability of information about the location of the photo studio cause society tend not to have accurate and relevant information so it does not know the location where that has a nice, affordable photo studios. The purpose of this research resulted in android-based geographic information system regarding information photo studio in the city of Jambi. Information in the form of Google maps so it provides convenience to users in finding the location of the photo studio. The software system development method using a model of the Waterfall. In map making using online maps provided by Google Maps for free. The results of this research, produce applications that can do information searches such as the calculation of the distance of the place of the photo studio, packages, maps, and other important information that could facilitate the community.
