Dari pengumpulan data yang penulis cari di playstore dan digital library stikom dinamika bangsa jambi tentang aplikasi wisata jambi terdapat kekurangan kekurangannya, contohnya aplikasi pariwisata jambi di aplikasi ini hanya menampilkan informasi wisata dan tidak ada maps atau rute tercepat untuk rating ke wisata tersebut, aplikasi candi muara jambi ini menampilkan peta dan rute tercepat untuk ke wisatanya tapi hanya menampilkan informasi wisata candi muaro jambi, aplikasi pesona jambi Indonesia ini menampilkan informasi informasi jambi dari hotels, culiner, wisata, transports dan services, maps entertaints dan event souvenir, tour packages tapi di aplikasi ini tidak menggunakan rating. Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan aplikasi panduan wisata provinsi jambi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode wawancara, quisoner, studi literatur, observasi dan metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan prototype di dinas budaya dan pariwisata provinsi jambi. Dengan menggunakan aplikasi panduan wisata yg ada di provinsi jambi ini dapat membantu pengguna mencari lokasi wisata yang bagus beserta rutenya dan apa apa saja fasilitas yang ada di wisata tersebut.
