Augmented Reality saat ini telah memberikan banyak kontribusi ke dalam berbagai bidang. Bidang-bidang tersebut meliputi periklanan dan pemasaran, arsitektur dan konstruksi, hiburan, medis, militer, dan wisata. Dalam bidang pendidikan, Augmented Reality juga telah dikembangkan ke dalam beberapa bentuk aplikasi seperti Augmented Reality Books, Augmented Reality Gaming, Discovery-based Learning, Objects Modelling, dan Skills Training. Selama ini pengunjung museum hanya memperoleh informasi melalui tulisan atau penjelasan yang diperoleh di sekitar objek, misalnya dari papan informasi, pemandu museum, buku, dan selebaran (brosur). Dalam hal ini penulis tertarik untuk merancang aplikasi yang memudahkan pengunjung museum perjuangan rakyat jambi. Dalam perancangan ini penulis menggunakan software dan smartphone serta menggunakan pemodelan perancangan di antaranya use case diagram, activity diagram, dan metodelogi penelitian dengan menggunakan metode waterfall.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Augmented Reality has now contributed a lot to various fields. These fields include advertising and marketing, architecture and construction, entertainment, medical, military and tourism. In the field of education, Augmented Reality has also been developed into several application forms such as Augmented Reality Books, Augmented Reality Gaming, Discovery-based Learning, Objects Modeling, and Skills Training. During this time museum visitors only get information through writings or explanations obtained around objects, for example from information boards, museum guides, books, and leaflets. In this case the author is interested in designing applications that facilitate visitors to the museum of the Jambi people's struggle. In this design the author uses software and smartphones and uses design modeling including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and research methodology using the waterfall method
