Radio EB 102’7 FM merupakan salah satu perusahaan swasta yang bergerak di bidang penyiaran radio di Kota Jambi. Proses penyiaran tersedia dalam bentuk website atau web radio, akses dari browser mobile atau mobile web dirasakan kurang efektif karena harus membuka browser dan tidak semua tipe handphone (HP) didukung dengan flash player yang digunakan untuk mendengarkan radio EB 102’7 FM. Hasil survei terhadap beberapa responden, 90% lebih yang menginginkan akses radio live streaming dengan platform mobile (android). Perancangan aplikasi radio live streaming berbasis android diharapkan dapat membantu memperluas akses siaran radio dalam berbagai platform khususnya android, dan untuk memberikan kemudahan kepada pendengar atau pengguna dalam mengakses informasi tentang Radio EB 102’7 FM serta membantu perkembangan bisnis didalamnya.

EB radio 102 FM ' 7 is one of the private companies engaged in the field of radio broadcasting in the city of Jambi. The process of broadcasting is available in the form of a website or web radio, access from mobile browsers or mobile web is felt less effective because of the need to open the browser and not all types of mobile phone (HP) powered by flash player used to listen EB radio 102 FM ' 7. The results of a survey of some respondents, 90% more who want access radio live streaming with mobile platforms (android). Design of radio application android-based live streaming is expected to help expand access to radio broadcasts in the various platforms especially android, and to provide convenience to the listener or the user in accessing information about EB radio 102 FM ' 7 and help the development of business in it.
