Portal kuliner merupakan suatu situs yang menyediakan layanan terhadap pemilik usaha kuliner untuk mempromosikan tempat usahanya kepada orang lain. Pemanfaatan internet dalam mengakses informasi kuliner banyak diterapkan melalui website. Berbagai website kuliner menyajikan informasi kuliner yang dikemas baik dengan tujuan penikmat kuliner dapat mengakses informasi kuliner yang dinginkan dengan mudah. Namun saat ini di jambi belum tersedianya portal informasi kuliner di kota jambi, maka dengan itu aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu dan menjadi referansi masyarakat dari luar Jambi maupun masyarakat yang menetap di Jambi. Aplikasi portal kuliner ini dapat menggantikan promosi melalui selebaran kertas ke promosi berbasis website, yang tentunya gratis tidak di punggut biaya apapun. Dengan melihat permasalahan yang dihadapi, maka penulis mencoba memberikan solusi dengan merancang suatu aplikasi portal kuliner dengan menggunakan aplikasi Adobe Dreamweaver CS5, bahasa pemrograman PHP, dan DBMS MySQL. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi portal kuliner sebagai sarana promosi usaha kuliner di Kota Jambi berbasis website.

Culinary Portal is a website that provides services to the culinary business owners to promote his place of business to others. Internet use in accessing information culinary widely applied through the website. Various websites provide information culinary culinary packaged good with the aim of culinary connoisseurs can access information culinary desired with ease. But this time at jambi unavailability of culinary information portal in kota jambi, then by the application is expected can help and reference people and the people who settled in Jambi. Applications can replace this culinary portal promotion through promotional flyers to paper-based website, which is certainly not free of charge. the looking at the problems this time, the author tries to provide a solution by designing a culinary portal application by using the application Adobe Dreamweaver CS5, programming language PHP, and DBMS MySQL. Results from this study is a culinary portal application as a means of business culinary promotion in the Jambi city based website.
