Sistem Informasi Akademik menjadi suatu sistem yang dirancang untuk keperluan pengeloaan data-data akademik. Dengan penerapan teknologi komputer baik hardware maupun software dapat menyediakan informasi yang baik dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa sistem informasi akademik yang berjalan pada SMA Negeri 16 Kabupaten Tebo, berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian tersebut penulis mencoba merancang sebuah sistem informasi akademik dengan menggunakan PHP dan database MySQL. Dengan sistem pengolahan data ini, diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi pada sistem yang lama dan dapat mempermudah pengguna dalam mengakses informasi secara cepat dan akurat sehingga bisa meningkatkan kinerja sistem akademik.
Deskripsi Alternatif :The Academic Information System becomes a system designed for the purposes of managing academic data. With the application of computer technology both hardware and software can provide good and efficient information. This study aims to analyze the academic information system that runs on Tebo District 16 High School, based on the results of the study the author tries to design an academic information system using PHP and MySQL databases. With this data processing system, it is expected to overcome the problems that occur in the old system and can facilitate users in accessing information quickly and accurately so that it can improve the performance of the academic system.
