Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu aplikasi yang digunakan untuk melakukan perancangan aplikasi sistem informasi geografis yang merupakan aplikasi dengan maksud untuk memfasilitasi calon mahasiswa dalam mencari lokasi Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Provinsi Jambi. Dengan perkembangan dan kebutuhan teknologi saat ini dapat dibuat menjadi lebih cepat dan praktis. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall untuk menyelesaikan masalah secara bertahap dan dapat memeriksa kembali jika ada perbaikan pada tahap tertentu. Melalui aplikasi ini memudahkan calon mahasiswa dalam menemukan lokasi sebuah Perguruan Tinggi Swasta pada perancangan aplikasi sistem informasi geografis perguruan tinggi swasta di provinsi yang berbasis android .

Deskripsi Alternatif :

This research aims to produce an application that is used to perform the design of geographical information system application that is an application with a view to facilitate the prospective students in finding the location of the College In Jambi province. With the development and needs of today's technology can be made to be more fast and practical. System development method used in this research is the author of the method waterfall to resolve gradually and may check back if there was improvement at some stage. Through this application makes it easy for prospective students in finding the location of a Private College on the design of geographical information system applications to private college in the province which is android based.
