Toko Satria Mas Jaya merupakan suatu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang penjualan barang bangunan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti mendapatkan informasi bahwa dalam kegiatan operasional pada Toko Satria Mas Jaya Jambi saat ini masih menggunakan pencatatan manual pada buku stok. Hal ini menimbulkan beberapa masalah yang terjadi pada Toko Satria Mas Jaya Jambi dalam hal pencatatan data stok barang sehingga sering terjadi perhitungan jumlah stok yang berbeda dengan keadaan barang yang sebenarnya. Disamping itu masih terdapat beberapa kendala seperti terjadinya penumpukan berkas serta lambatnya pencarian data dan keterlambatan penyediaan laporan terhadap pimpinan. Hal ini sangat berpengaruh proses bisnis yang semakin sulit dan tidak efisien. Untuk itu, diperlukan suatu sistem aplikasi yang mampu menangani permasalahan pengolahan data maka penulis merancang sebuah aplikasi pengolahan data yang diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan pengolahan data persediaan barang pada Toko Satria Mas Jaya Jambi.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Stores Satria Mas Jaya is a company engaged in the sale of goods building. Stores Satria Mas Jaya established in order to meet consumer needs for building materials and for profit, of course, using a good strategy, it is one of how to establish good relationships fellow consumers. Because of the good relationship to customers will increase sales turnover. By increasing the sales turnover was definitely benefits also increased. That way the owner was very attentive service and quality products that will be given to the customer so that the customer can feel satisfied with facilities and products ordered.
Based on the results of research conducted, investigators received information that the operational activities in Stores Satria Mas Jaya today still use manual recording on the book stock. This poses some problems that occur in Stores Satria Mas Jaya in data recording inventory so often happens calculation of the amount of stock that is different from the actual state of things. Besides, there are still some obstacles as well as the slow buildup of file data search and delay the provision of reports to the leader. It is a very influential business processes increasingly difficult and inefficient. For that, we need a system that is able to handle application data processing problems.
Based on the description above, the authors designed a web-based application to provide quality information about the inventory data in the data especially incoming and outgoing goods, the sale and purchase of the data used in the operation of computerized work will require adequate means to support the administration of labor productivity, which helps to decision-making process.
