Dalam perancangan game, visualisasi game berupa pendeteksian benturan antar objek sering kali tidak diperhatikan khususnya dalam perancangan game 3D. Konsep pada game 3D Shooting Balloons adalah pemain harus mengumpulkan poin yang telah ditentukan dengan cara mencari dan menembak balon yang ada pada arena permainan. Game 3D ini juga memberikan tantangan yang semakin rumit setiap levelnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang aplikasi game3D ber-genre Shooting yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan analisis pemain . Selain itu, untuk menentukan irisan dan merancang efek tabrakan antar objek dengan metode collision detection pada game 3D Shooting Balloons. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi game ini, penulis menggunakan Multimedia Development Life Cycle yaitu model Luther-Sutopo. Dengan konsep game yang ada pada game 3D Shooting Balloons, pemain dapat meningkatkan keterampilan analisisnya. Game Shooting Balloons ini juga telah diterapkan metode collision detection sehingga dapat menentukan irisan dan merancang efek tabrakan antar objek pada aplikasi game tersebut.
Deskripsi Alternatif :In design of the game, a game visualization of collision detection between objects is often not considered, especially in the design of 3D games. The concept of 3D game Shooting Balloon is players must collect the points that have been determined by looking and shooting balloons that exist in the gaming arena. This 3D game is also providing an increasingly complex challenge every level. The purpose of this research was to design shooting genre of 3D game application that can improve analysis skills for player. In addition, to determine slices and design of collision effects between objects with collision detection method in 3D games Shooting Balloons. In this game application development, the authors use the Multimedia Development Life Cycle is Sutopo-Luther model. With the concept of the game in 3D games Shooting Balloons, players can improve their analysis skills. Shooting Balloons games has also been applied to collision detection method that can determine slice and design of collision effects between objects on the game application.
