Proses penerimaan siswa baru di SMKN 1 Tuah Kemuning selama ini dilakukan secara manual atau tanpa terkomputerisasi seperti pendaftaran peserta hanya disimpan dikertas, informasi pendaftaran hanya terdapat pada brosur, serta penguman hasil penerimaan hanya diinformasikan melalui papan pengumuman sekolah sehingga dokumen dapat rusak dan hilang, calon siswa kesulitan mencari informasi dan calon siswa harus datang ke sekolah untuk melihat hasil penerimaan. Maka diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi penerimaan siswa baru pada SMKN 1 Tuah Kemuning berbasis web untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan di atas.Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian ini yaitu metode wawancara, observasi, studi literatur, studi lapangan, studi pustaka serta beberapa tools dalam perancangan aplikasi. Hasil dari penelitian lni adalah memudahkan proses pendaftaran siswa baru dan pencarian informasi pada SMKN 1 Tuah Kemuning.
Deskripsi Alternatif :The process of admission of new students at SMKN 1 Tuah Kemuning has been done manually or without computerized as the registration is only kept in paper, the registration information is only available on the brochure, and the receiving result is only informed through the school announcement board so the document can be damaged and lost, prospective students find it difficult to find information and prospective students must come to school to see the results of acceptance. So needed a new student admissions information system at SMKN 1 Tuah Kemuning web-based to solve the above problems. The method used in doing this research are interview method, observation, literature study, field study, literature study and some tools in application design. The results of this study is to facilitate the process of registration of new students and information search on SMKN 1 Tuah Kemuning.
