Barber shop tempat cukur cowok menjadi pilihan utama pria modern untuk mengurus rambutnya. Layanan utama ditawarkan barber shop antara lain pengguntingan rambut dan shaving (mencukur kumis dan janggut), sementara itu layanan pelengkap yang bisa kita dapatkan di tempat pangkas ini adalah pewarnaan rambut dan di barber shop pelanggan akan merasakan tempat yang lebih nyaman, dengan adanya sebuah sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mencari letak barber shop serta informasi lainnya yang terkait,. Sistem yang akan dibangun memanfaatkan salah satu teknologi dari Google Maps yang merupakan layanan aplikasi peta online yang disediakan oleh Google secara gratis. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalampenelitian ini adalah membangun sistem informasi geografis barber shop di kota jambi berbasis android yang dapat digunakan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai peta letak barber shop beserta gambaran geografis kepada masyarakat. Informasi lokasi barber shop ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat pendatang dan masyarakat yang berada di kota jambi.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Barber shop is a boy shaver to be the main choice of modern men to take care of his hair. The main services offered barber shop include hair cutting and shaving (shave mustache and beard), while the complementary service we can get at this barber is hair coloring and in the barber shop customers will feel a more comfortable place. with the existence of a system that can be used to find the location of barber shop as well as other related information. The system to be built utilizes one of the technologies of Google Maps which is an online map application service provided by Google for free. The goal to be achieved in this research is to build a geographic information system of barber shop in jambi city based on android that can be used to provide information about map of location of barber shop along with geographical picture to society. Information on the location of this barber shop is needed by the immigrant community and the people who are in the city of jambi.
