Saat ini penyajian Informasi alumni STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi mengegunakan dua cara yaitu majalah dinding (mading) dan website portal alumni STIKOM. Dari hasil wawancara yang didapat dari beberapa alumni STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Jambi menyatakan penggunaan website masih kurang efektif, kendalanya ialah informasi yang tidak up to date, dan hasil observasi menunjukkan tampilan website tidak responsive terhadap tampilan smartphone. Untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut, maka diperlukan Sistem Informasi Alumni Stikom Dinamika Bangsa Jambi Berbasis Android dengan menggunakan pengembangan sistem metode waterfall. Yang diharapkan dapat membantu akses komunukasi sesama alumni secara lebih efektif, lebih responsive dengan smarthphone dan alumni dapat memberikan ataupun melihat informasi lowongan pekerjaan dan saran. Rancangan sistem dibuat dengan alat bantu pemodelan berorientasi objek yaitu Use Case, Activity Diagram, dan Class Diagram.
Deskripsi Alternatif :STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa is one of Computer Science University that exist in Jambi City. Currently presentation of STIKOM Dinamika Bangsa Alumnus information use two ways, that is Bulletin Board and portal website of STIKOM alumnus. From the interview result that obtained from some Stikom Dinamika Bangsa Jambi alumnus, could be concluded that website usage still less effective, the reason is information that not up to date, and the observation result showing that website interface is not responsive in smartphone. Informasi Alumni Stikom Dinamika Bangsa Jambi is an information presentation application, which make use of devices like computer, or smartphone that connected to internet as up to date job vacancy information presentation and suggestion telling media. To overcome those matters, then required Android Based Information System of Stikom Dinamika Bangsa Jambi use application developing method Waterfall. I Hope this application can make communication access between alumnus become more effective, responsive in smartphone and alumnus can providing or seeing job vacancy information and suggestion. System design is make using object-oriented modeling tool, that is use case , activity diagram, and class diagram.
