Sistem informasi geografis (GIS) majelis taklim merupakan aplikasi gis berbasis android dengan menintegrasikan Global Positioning System (GPS). Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi geografis majelis taklim pada kota jambi. Aplikasi ini menggunakan jaringan lokal dan media penyimpanannya database mysql. Tujuan sistem ini dibangun untuk memberikan informasi lokasi majelis taklim, kepada masyarakat kota jambi, dengan mudah dan sederhana karena dapat dioperasikan dimanapun user berada menggunakan piranti mobile device berbasis android. Pengguna sistem ini dibagi menjadi dua yaitu admin dan user umum. Penggunaan admin dapat melakukan olah data yang meliputi edit data, hapus data dan tambah data terkait dengan majelis taklim, lokasi dan tema. Aplikasi yang dibuat berhasil dijalankan pada smartphone Android 5.0 (Android Lollipop) dan versi yang terbaru di atasnya. Aplikasi yang dibuat dapat terintegrasi dengan GPS smartphone secara baik. Hasil dari pembuatan aplikasi ini memiliki fitur-fitur login, register, dan tambah data majelis taklim. dapat dipakai oleh masyarakat kota jambi untuk pencarian informasi dan lokasi majelis taklim.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Geographic information system (GIS) majlis taklim is an android based gis application by integrating Global Positioning System (GPS). This research produces an application of geographic information system majlis taklim at jambi city. This application uses the local network and storage media mysql database. The purpose of this system is built to provide information on the location of the assembly taklim, to the people of jambi city, easily and simply because it can be operated wherever the user is using android-based device devices. The user of this system is divided into two namely admin and general user. Admin use can do though data which include edit data, delete data and add data related with majors taklim, location and theme. The apps created successfully run on the Android 5.0 smartphone (Android Lollipop) and the latest version on it. Applications that are created can be integrated with a GPS smartphone as well. The result of making this application has the features of login, register, and added data assemblies taklim. can be used by the people of Jambi city to search for information and location of assemblies taklim.
