Website explore jambi (www.explorejambi.com) di buat oleh Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi sebagai media promosi yang menyajikan informasi seputar provinsi Jambi, budaya, serta objek pariwisata yang terletak diberbagai kabupaten dan kota. Website explore jambi masih terjadi naik-turun statistik jumlah kunjungan setiap bulannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan pengguna website ini dengan menganalisis dan mengevaluasi aspek usability melalui pengujian kegunaan (usability testing), menggunakan alat bantu kuesioner Software Usability Measurement Inventory (SUMI) dan pengolahan data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan software smartPLS. Juga memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan pada website explore jambi berdasarkan hasil analisis untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna. Kuesioner Software Usability Measurement Inventory (SUMI) memiliki 5 atribut yaitu efficiency, affect, helpfullness, control, dan learnability. Hasil hipotesis berdasarkan 5 atribut menunjukan bahwa aspek usability dari Website explore jambi yang diterima adalah atribut affect dan control. Dan diperoleh 3 rekomendasi yang mengacu pada 3 atribut yaitu efficiency, helpfullness dan learnability.

The study aims to increase the number of visits to users of the website with analyzing and evaluating aspects of usability through the testing of the use of (usability testing), using the questionnaire Software Usability Measurement Inventory (SUMI) and data processing using Partial Least Square (PLS) with software SmartPLS. Also to recommend an improvement on the website explore jambi, based on the results of analysis to improve the satisfaction of users. Kuesioner Software Usability Measurement Inventory (SUMI) have five attributtes namely efficiency, affect, helpfullness, control and learnability. The hypothesis based on five attributes to show that aspects of usability of the website explore jambi edinburgh which accepted is the affect and control, and earned three recommendations refer to three attributes the efficiency, helpfullness and learnability.
